The Empower Project is managed by DADS. DADS is a community/voluntary organisation that has helped and supported families and their children on the spectrum for over 25 years.

The Empower Project is now a Social Enterprise Business delivering workshops to family support community groups, playgroups and schools, online resources available on our website: http://www.empowernetwork.co.uk,  balanceability sessions where children learn how to ride their bike and also children’s Pilates. 

The focus of the project is to support children with neurodiverse needs, their parents and the wider family circle to enhance confidence and learn together to develop skills to support their children.

There is an opportunity to take up Empower VIP yearly membership. This will allow the DADS group to sustain their current activities. a

We offer coffee mornings/support meetings for parents.

DADS & The Empower Project has helped and supported Sunflower Support N.I.(parents group set up in Ardboe to support families with children on the Spectrum) and Tourette’s Support NI (parents group set up to support and meet the needs of children and young people with Tourette’s.) We continue to support these groups as all these families are on the same journey.
