Sensory/Social Skills
Farranshane House, Antrim
This workshop will commence on Thursday 24 May 2018 and will run for 1 session(s) ending on Thursday 24 May 2018. Each session will begin at 10:00 AM and finish at 12:00 PM unless otherwise stated.

At Therapy Foundations we explore the building blocks of development and foundations for learning. We are knowledgeable about stages of development and the appropriate milestones in a child’s physical, perceptual, cognitive and sensory development. Our aim is to allow parents and carers to fully understand the challenges and barriers to development children may face. Also, to explain the importance of early social and motor achievements and learning as foundations for emotional, social and motor intelligence.  In doing this we need to establish the child’s earliest behaviour and to the role of early reflexes which if not integrated will impact on arousal and anxiety and inhibit sound postural reflex development.
